Alternative Dispute Resolution Experience:
Arbitration & mediation of construction disputes: unforeseen site conditions, design flaws, change orders, defaults, insurance and surety claims in both private and public sectors. Service as mediator or arbitrator on more than 100 cases. Sole mediator on claims as large as $2 million in both public and private sectors. Facilitated partnering sessions on international and domestic construction contracts as large as $350 million.

Member of AAA’s Construction Advisory Board, and Construction ADR Task Force. Also serve as court-appointed commercial mediator. Collaborated with American Arbitration Association to design and implement a Partnering Process for $1.3 billion in construction contracts on Tren Urbano, commuter rail project in San Juan, PR.
